Do I need a COVID-19 test to travel Internationally from the United States?

***All air passengers 2 years or older with a flight departing from a foreign country to the US at or after 12:01am EST (5:01am GMT) on December 6, 2021, are required show a negative COVID-19 viral test (PCR or Rapid antigen) result taken no more than 1 day before travel, or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 in the past 90 days, before they board their flight.***

Effective September 6, 2022, the municipality of Los Cabos will be implementing a new environmental sanitation tax for all visitors staying at hotels, motels or guesthouses. This tax will be $33.68 MXN per night per room, approximately $1.70 USD per night depending on the exchange rate. The tax will be collected by the hotel, and you will be able to see the tax charge on your hotel bill at check in or check out. Accepted payment methods for this tax will be local currency ($ Mexican pesos) or debit/credit card.

Pre-travel COVID-19 test no longer required
Jamaica will no longer have any travel restrictions that were imposed due to the pandemic as travelers to the island are no longer required to take a COVID-19 test to board a flight.

For faster processing on arrival at the airport, travelers are encouraged to submit their Immigration/Customs C5 card online at https://enterjamaica.com and may do so at any time before arrival. If the card has not been submitted online, passengers may complete the paper form issued in-flight by the airline.

    Do I need to get a COVID-19 test to return back to the United States?

    The United States requires proof of a negative COVID-19 test for all air passengers arriving from a foreign country to the United States. Tests are available at all resorts and will be scheduled upon arrival.

    What is included in the rate?

    All-Inclusive includes the hotel room, food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, taxes and gratuity. Depending on the package that your group decided on you may have airfare and in destination ground transportation as part of your package.

    Do I have to use your travel coordinator?

    When booking with us, you're working with an expert in the US. In many cases, the group leaders plan events throughout your stay and all reservations must be booked at the same resort to be able to attend. Our travel coordinator requests the rooms to be together and other small perks to make your stay comfortable.

    Do I have to pay for the trip all at once?

    No! One of the benefits of booking through Destify is that once your reservation is locked in with a deposit, you may make additional payments in any increment at any time towards your trip as long as you are paid in full by the Final Payment Date.

    When do I have to make the final payment?

    payments are due 65 days prior to travel. Payment links are available throughout the booking site for your convenience.

    If I book my reservation now, can I add someone later?

    Yes, you can book your room today and add a person in the future. Please keep in mind when making changes to your reservation, the pricing and availability at the resort are subject to change at any time, therefore can impact ability to process requests.

    Do I need a passport?

    As you are traveling international, you do need a passport valid at least 6+ months past your travel dates. Passport cards are not valid for international air travel. If you have a passport, be sure to check the expiration date. If you don't already have a passport, we suggest applying a minimum of 6 months in advance of your trip as a precaution. Passport processing time can take 4-6 weeks.

    Where/when do I get my airfare boarding pass?

    Boarding passes are issued 24 hours prior to departure, and can be issued online directly through the airline's website or picked up at the airport during check in. If airfare is included in your package, please check your travel documents for the airline confirmation code to check in. We suggest for you also to print your itinerary that is emailed to you prior to your trip for verification at the airport.

    How do I get to the resort and how does transportation work?

    We offer in-destination round trip ground transportation to and from the airport to your chosen resort. The transportation company will monitor your flight times and await your arrival at the airport. You will be responsible to confirm your departure transportation by visiting the transportation company desk in the lobby of your resort or calling them the day prior to your scheduled departure.

    Can I use American Dollars?

    Yes, though some resorts and stores will not accept USD, therefore we recommend you inform your credit and debit card companies of the dates you will be traveling. Charges made at the resort or elsewhere on your trip may be subject to a foreign transaction fee by your bank (normally 1-3%).
